COLLECTION S - proud winner of the Red Dot Design award
In total, the Red Dot Design Award competition received more than 5,500 entries from 54 countries this year. The winner was selected by an international jury of around 40 independent designers, design professors and specialist journalists.

“The challenge at designing the new Collection S series was to merge the requirements of modern office life at the management level with the experience of high quality craftsmanship founded by the MartinStoll heritage. Dynamically curved upholstery and traceable lines of armrests are translating that idea to a unique look” explains designers Michael Lammel and Markus Heller from NOA Intelligent Design.
The Collection S chair family consists of task chairs, easy chairs and meeting chairs, which offer various functional features and share the high level of quality and the common design expression. The chair family has thought-out material choices and a high level of craftsmanship that well suit the executive environments.

About the Red Dot Design Award
ONE OF THE WORLD’S LARGEST DESIGN COMPETITIONS
In order to appraise the diversity in the field of design in a professional manner, the Red Dot Design Award breaks down into the three disciplines of Red Dot Award: Product Design, Red Dot Award: Communication Design and Red Dot Award: Design Concept. The Red Dot Award is organised by Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen and is one of the world’s largest design competitions. In 1955, a jury convened for the first time to assess the best designs of the day. In the 1990s, Red Dot CEO Professor Dr. Peter Zec developed the name and brand of the award.
