Kinnarps launches new colours and fabrics – focus on sustainability and personal choices
The Kinnarps Colour Studio range offers hundreds of materials and colours, providing a versatile and easily accessible resource for creative, attractive and long-term sustainable workspaces. Giving more opportunites for personal choices. In launching new offers for 2020, Kinnarps strengthens its sustainability profile even more, together with an extra focus on areas that are subject to intense wear and tear, such as schools and healthcare facilities.
“We always think about the whole life cycle for our products and solutions. It’s about the material's low climate impact and high durability, but also the possibility to update products and offer colours that are easy to combine and last over time. Our Kinnarps Colour Studio range is now updated with inspiring colours and fabrics that is also a sustainable and durable choice for all types of workspaces”.
The three new fabrics – MORRIS, VELVETY and 24/7 FLAX – are equally beautiful and functional, combining soft feel and vibrant colours with durability and easy-to clean surfaces. Another stylish and practical new offer is the artificial leather JOY, ideal for healthcare since it can be treated with a disinfection agent with no need for wiping off with water. The new accent colours PISTAGE, REDDISH RUST, SAFFRON, BLUEBERRY and SPEARMINT offer warm, calm and slightly earthy tones that are durable over time, as does the new FSC® labelled Brown Portland laminate with its vintage-inspired tone. The new colour scale harmonise with other colours in the range to make it easy to give any workplace an inspiring facelift, which is more environmentally and economically sustainable than replacing an entire product or solution.
As Kinnarps Colour Studio is Kinnarps’ own range, it gives control over everything from durability and quality to expression and colours. The cohesive range also means that products can be easily used, refreshed, reused and recycled. “With full control over the whole process, starting with a versatile and comprehensive basic range, we constantly renew and develop our offerings. Colours, quality and flexibility are linked together, because if the customer can use our products for a long time, it contributes to a lower environmental impact,” says Jenny Hörberg.
