Barnett Waddingham are a leading independent consultancy firm based in the UK, assisting private and public sector clients in Risk, Pensions, Investment and Insurance. From humble roots with a small number of employees their growth has resulted in multiple offices across the UK with a total workforce of over 1000 employees.
The catalyst for the redesign project in Barnett Waddingham’s offices was born from their recent rebranding and relocations, starting with their London office. The aim of this project was to enhance the look and feel of their office spaces, but also to bring together their brand identity and activity based working, reflecting their ‘beyond the expected’ business values.
When liaising with Kinnarps, it was imperative that the elements highlighted in Barnett Waddingham’s design brief, combined with their corporate branding, were reflected through the furniture they specified. The combination of tight deadlines on building works, impacting furniture delivery schedules plus a new agile working space brought forth some challenges, but Kinnarps were able to coordinate everything in an orderly fashion.
Barnett Waddingham chose to work with Kinnarps for their ethical and environmental ethos, alongside their modern but functional furniture offering. The ability to interpret Barnett Waddingham’s designs and create bespoke items was also important.
After a successful project and smooth installation Barnett Waddingham will continue rolling out their office design projects in collaboration with Kinnarps.
“We have been very impressed with the level of customer service and considerate time and attention all Kinnarps employees have shown us.
