An international business school

Founded in 1973, EU Business School is a private business school with campuses in Geneva, Munich and Barcelona, as well as an online Digital campus. It offers an international education that combines personalised support, close links to the business world and strong career opportunities. The school is built on international outlook, entrepreneurship, innovation, and ethical and academic excellence, creating a focused and diverse learning environment.

A new campus designed for flexibility and connection

To create modern spaces that support everyday student life, the school relocated to Geneva’s growing business district. The new campus spans two buildings and 1,500 m², with space for around 250 students. It includes areas for focused work, group work, informal meetings and breaks, giving students a flexible environment that supports different ways of learning throughout the day.

D2 high stool
Made from recycled plastic and natural fibre, D2 is well suited to informal workspaces, cafés and meeting areas. It combines a durable seat with a straightforward Scandinavian expression.

One of the main challenges in this project was creating a consistent environment across two buildings, while making the spaces flexible enough to support classes, exams, collaborative events and student activities.

Kinnarps supported the school in choosing materials and colours that balanced comfort, a contemporary feel and long-term durability. With the help of preview tools and 3D visualisations, different options could be reviewed early in the process, making it easier for the architects and school management to make decisions together.

Modular interiors designed to support everyday school life

The new interiors reflects the identity of EU Business School, with an open and modular environment that supports both collaboration and individual focus. Students and lecturers have responded positively to the new spaces, highlighting the welcoming atmosphere and the flexibility they offer. Although the campus is still new, it is already supporting collaboration, interaction and wellbeing across the school community.

“The new campus reflects our vision: flexible, modern and welcoming spaces that support collaboration and learning. Kinnarps’ guidance helped us turn that vision into reality.”
