Client projects: Pyramide Conseils

In the Greenopolis park in the 9th district in Lyons, Pyramide Conseils - an accounting and business consultancy practice has bought a three-storey building with around 2,000 m² floor space. Previously located in the business district of Part Dieu, the company wanted a unique building that was like the company, with a large enough surface area to bring together several different locations.

FACTS & FIGURES

As a part of the building was not being used, Pyramide Conseils opted to use it to set up a business centre called DMCI. This purchase allows Pyramide Conseils to provide a complementary service to its customer base of entrepreneurs and chief executives. The accounting practice therefore asked Kinnarps to breathe new life into the DMCI business centre and to manage the whole of the refurbishment: architecture, partitions, interior decoration and furnishings.

FULL PROJECT MANAGEMENT GAVE KINNARPS THE EDGE

On the 2 areas spread across 2 floors, Pyramide Conseils wanted to create several offices for 1 to 3 people, relaxing areas, co-working zones and a kitchen, all in its branding colours.

"We knew the name of the Kinnarps Group. We talked to them for the first time for this project and we were delighted by their ranges of furniture which are well-designed, practical and modern all at the same time. In addition, Kinnarps offered us a turnkey solution, managing the whole of the project for us. It is much more practical and reassuring for us to be dealing with a single partner for the whole thing," says Betty Casazza, who managed the project of refurbishing these new premises. 

THE LEITMOTIF: HAVE A DIFFERENT LOOK TO THE OTHER BUSINESS CENTRES IN LYONS

There are many business centres in Lyons, and Pyramide Conseils did not want to simply add their name to the end of the list. They wanted a business centre that was different. Not just available space for rent, but places for meetings. The offices within the DCMI can be rented for a day or by the month, and some tenants end up staying there for several years, so it was absolutely necessary to provide them with premises where they feel good.

Pyramide Conseils was open to any good ideas and suggestions on how to do so. And to help them make the right decisions, they were able to visit the Kinnarps showroom in Lyons, meet our teams, find out about our furniture ranges, and visit customers who had completed their refurbishment projects with us. All of this needed to be done within 3 months, because new tenants were expected in the business centre.

Pleased with the success of this, Pyramide Conseils then asked Kinnarps to refurbish the reception and relaxation areas in their head office next to the business centre. The two companies, Pyramide Conseils and Kinnarps, share some common values, namely people, respect and empathy. The accounting practice wanted these values to be reflected in the decor and the furnishings, and to encourage low stress, relaxation and discussion.
