The catalyst for the recent project at Upfield was to create a new home for the business and design a new office that reflected their values, ensuring it supported their future needs. Upfield wanted a space that allowed their customers to be fully immersed into a product and category journey with state of the art technology and a professional kitchen to demonstrate Upfield products in a homely environment.
As a plant based Food Company, it was essential that Upfield mirrored their business through the aesthetics and materials used in the design and planning of their new office. There was a challenge with this aim as the timeline to deliver the project was extremely tight which meant that the project needed to be completed within an 8-week period.
Upfield contacted Kinnarps after a recommendation from their central team. Kinnarps were able to offer a wide range of furniture alongside bespoke items for this project. With a clear understanding of the brief, Kinnarps were able to advise the Upfield team with their knowledge of products and finishes.
