START YOUR WORKPLACE CHANGE PROJECT ON THE RIGHT TRACK
With so many challenges to consider and so many people to please, workplace change can be tricky to navigate.
Next Office® is a consultation programme, developed by Kinnarps, to help start workplace change projects on the right track.
New furniture alone is rarely the answer.
Whether you are looking to reduce your office footprint, modernise your workspace to attract new talent, or reconfigure to accommodate growth, there is benefit in taking a step back and considering your options.
Discover your optimal workplace
Open up new ways of working whilst meeting the needs of your employees
Ensure your employees’ voices are heard
Minimise resistance to change and get the buy-in needed to make it a success
The programme focuses on ensuring these three key drivers all work in harmony:
PEOPLE
Inclusive design encouraging a positive workplace culture, embracing diversity and personal choice.
SPACE
Effective use of space and a dynamic range of furniture, allowing the workforce to be productive, as well as embracing aesthetics and ergonomics
TECHNOLOGY
Digital solutions supporting the ability to work in an agile environment
Next Office® is a simple five-step process, completed over a three to six-month period:
VISION-SETTING WORKSHOPS
We hear from a select group of your leadership and employees, guiding them through a series of creative exercises to understand what ideal looks like for them
WAYS OF WORKING SURVEYS
We hear from the wider organisation on what their current working habits look like and how they would prefer to work, given more choice in the future
STRATEGIC REPORT
We play back our findings in a visual report, including analysis and recommendations for your future workspace
SOLUTION MAPPING
We install and assemble your new environment, ensuring that staff recognise the link to the project ambitions and their stated preferences
IMPLEMENTATION
We install and assemble your new office, ensuring that each member of staff is given the necessary instruction
It looks different for every office. Many will move to a more agile workspace with some remaining more traditional in their approach’.

“Kinnarps’ Next Office® process provided a valuable opportunity to engage with teams at an early stage, not only to explain the concept of agile working and activity based settings but to stimulate discussion, address concerns and gain buy-in. Using the data and information collected to inform the designs ensured we could be creative whilst reflecting the needs of different teams.”

Yes. In fact, in the long-run, consultation will often save you money – ensuring you create a tailored workspace based on your employee’s actual needs and avoid the ‘dead ends’ of inefficient use of space or wasting funds on ineffective solutions. It provides ample return on investment.
Whilst there is of course a charge for Next Office®, we don’t believe you should have to pay exorbitant consultancy fees, so you may find our expertise is surprisingly affordable.
We’d be delighted to hear from you.
