Charlie
The Charlie armchair is the result of a thorough project that aimed to design the healthcare armchair of the future. It has been developed based on current strict requirements, but also to meet future requirements for the ideal healthcare armchair. The result is a tactile wooden chair in an aesthetically pleasing design with soft shapes, a chair that also meets all requirements for durability and function. Charlie has been developed based on strict requirements for healthcare chairs. It is an inclusive chair with soft shapes. It has a stable, tip-proof, full-length frame, with a grip on the back for support. The chair has removable, washable upholstery and rubber fabric on the seat to facilitate cleaning. Charlie’s user-friendly, easy-grip handles on the back, combined with castors, make the chair easy to handle/move, and ensure that the chair can easily be pulled out from or pushed up to the table. The armchair is suspendable for access to floor space during cleaning, and is stackable up to five chairs (also with castors) for space efficiency and flexibility. Charlie was designed by Peter Andersson.
